Meet The Founder & Principal Consultant
Aneeta Pearson, M.S.W., M.S.

Aneeta Pearson is a child welfare systems expert with over a decade of leadership experience spanning state government administration, federal consultation, and nonprofit partnerships.
Government Leadership
As Maryland Department of Human Services’ statewide Continuous Quality Improvement (CQI) administrator, Aneeta led implementation of Maryland’s child welfare quality improvement process across 24 Local Departments of Social Services serving 24,000+ children annually. In this role, she ensured compliance with federal Child and Family Services Review (CFSR) standards, conducted comprehensive case reviews, delivered technical assistance to county administrators, and collaborated with the University of Maryland Baltimore Research & Evaluation team to drive data-informed improvements.
Federal Recognition
Aneeta serves as a federally-recognized subject matter expert for the U.S. Children’s Bureau (Administration for Children & Families) and the U.S. Department of Education’s Office of Safe and Supportive Schools, providing policy consultation, federal grant review services, and expert guidance on child welfare systems implementation. As a former state CQI administrator who now consults at the federal level, she understands both sides of CFSR compliance—having personally implemented statewide systems and now advising on federal policy and grant review.
Academic Excellence
A graduate of the prestigious Child Welfare Scholars Program at the University of Michigan-Ann Arbor (ranked #1 in Social Work by U.S. News & World Report), Aneeta completed advanced clinical training at C.S. Mott Children’s Hospital’s Child Protection Team, one of the nation’s premier children’s hospitals. She holds dual master’s degrees: M.S.W. from University of Michigan and M.S. in Criminology from University of Maryland Eastern Shore (summa cum laude).
Current Service
Aneeta currently serves on Georgia’s Statewide Human Trafficking Task Force (Criminal Justice Coordinating Council), focusing on Commercial Sexual Exploitation of Children (CSEC) prevention and awareness. She develops trauma-informed, youth-centered prevention strategies for at-risk youth in foster care and juvenile justice systems.
Professional Development
Committed to continuous learning, Aneeta has completed professional development through the Business Strategy from Wharton: Competitive Advantage, HarvardX (Child Protection & Early Childhood Development), and serves as a client of the GT APEX Accelerator at Georgia Tech, expanding government contracting capabilities to serve more child welfare agencies.
